Screw conveyor (screw feeder) is a kind of economical, practical and convenient powder loading equipment, which is characterized by simple installation, convenient operation and maintenance. Due to its unique design, it is easy to transport powder materials with poor fluidity, such as diary powder, monosodium glutamate, solid drinks, sugar, glucose, coffee, feed, solid medicine, pesticide, powder and granular additives, dyes, etc. As one of the basic equipment, so how to keep its maintainence is very important. Here are some suggestions from QH MACHINERY for your reference.
A. When the feeder is used for batching or quantitative feeding, in order to ensure the uniform and stable feeding and to prevent the material flows by gravity, it should be installed horizontally, such as general material continuous feeding, we can install by tilting down 10°. For viscous materials and materials with large water content, it can be installed at 15° downward inclination.
B. After installation, the feeder should have a swimming gap of 20mm, and the transverse should be horizontal. The suspension device should be in flexible connection.
C. Before the air test, all bolts should be strengthened for one time, especially the vibration electromagnetic anchor bolts, after continuous operation for 3-5 hours, they should be tightened again.
D. During the test run, the two vibration motors must be rotated.
E. The feeding stability of amplitude, current and noise should be checked frequently in the process of operation, and any abnormality should be stopped in time.
F. The electromagnetic bearings should be filled with lubricating oil every 2 months. In high temperature season, lubricating oil should be filled once per month.
