Screw conveyor (screw feeder) is a kind of economical, practical and convenient powder loading equipment, which is characterized by simple installation, convenient operation and maintenance. Due to its unique design, it is easy to transport powder materials with poor fluidity, such as diary powder, monosodium glutamate, solid drinks, sugar, glucose, coffee, feed, solid medicine, pesticide, powder and granular additives, dyes, etc.

Screw conveyor can be divided into shaft screw conveyor and shaftless screw conveyor in conveying form, and U-type screw conveyor and tubular screw conveyor in appearance. The shaft screw conveyor is suitable for dry powder materials and small particle materials (such as cement, fly ash, lime, grain, etc.); the shaftless screw conveyor is suitable for conveying viscous and easily winding materials (such as sludge, biomass, garbage, etc.). The rotating spiral blades move the materials forward and complete the screw conveyor conveying. Together with the force of the conveyor blades rotating is the weight of the material itself and the friction resistance of the screw conveyor casing to the material. For spiral blades welded on the rotating shaft of screw conveyor, the surface types of blades include solid surface, belt surface, blade surface, etc.
