Pipe chain conveyor is a kind of continuous conveying equipment for conveying powder, small particles and small pieces of loose materials, which can be conveyed horizontally, inclinedly and vertically. Generally used in fine chemicals, pesticide ores, building materials, food industry and so on.
In the closed pipe, the chain plate drives the material to move along the pipe.
When conveying horizontally, the material particles are thrust by the chain plate in the direction of movement. When the internal friction force between the material layer is greater than the external friction force between the material and the pipe wall, the material moves forward with the chain sheet, forming a stable material flow;
When vertically conveying, pipe material particles moves upwards by chain plate, because of the lower materials prevent the upper materials slipping, the transverse lateral pressure produced, also enhance the material internal friction, when the friction between the material is greater than the material and pipe wall friction and material weight, the material is with chain upward transportation, form continuous material flow.
